Generating the MPI report

Once the estimates are reviewed and all costs applied, click in the Inspection Summary or the vehicle queue to produce a PDF of the inspection (MPI) report and all recommendations . The report is for review and approval by the customer.

The first page of the MPI Report shows the results of the inspection.

The second page shows the recommendation details, including:

  • Any comments for the customer.
  • A link to any videos or images associated with the recommendation. The customer can click on the thumbnail to open it if reviewing the PDF electronically.
  • The current approval/deferral status of each recommendation for customer concerns and inspection items.
  • The price of each recommendation and totals.
  • A customer signature field.

 

The report can be emailed to the customer from the Completed queue in wiADVISOR Dashboard.

Note: The MPI report PDF can be emailed to the customer from Service Dashboard's 'Service Details' page.

Recommendations can also be sent electronically to the customer using Digital MPI if enabled for the dealership. If DMPI is used, the status in Technician Inspection changes automatically to
